Does anyone know of a workaround for calibrating using the Monaco OPTIX XR hardware? The software is PPC/Rosetta only and won;t run under 10.7/10.8

Look into dispcalGUI and ArgyllCMS.

dispcalGUI is front-end to ArgyllCMS which I think supports your hardware.
