its kinda cool, and more than I could ever figure out how to create in Photoshop. But I thought that the concept of the assignments was photography, not showcasing skills in Photoshop.

I agree.. I have never done much in photoshop other than cropping stuff and adjusting contrast.

It did take a while for me to take my hands with the available resources.. and less time in PS than behind the camera.
