I have retired my Epson R300 and bought a Canon PIXMA MG6350.
I used to use mostly Epson heavyweight matte paper, Ilford Smooth Pearl and Hahnemuhle Photo Rag (308gsm). What papers would you guys recommend which are either equivalent or roughly equivalent on the Canon printer?
Can I basically just change from the Epson heavyweight matte to the Canon MP101 Matte Photo Paper, and keep using the Ilford Smooth Pearl and Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, or are there better options?
Also, on the Epson I always has an issue where the edge of the Hahnemuhle paper would be full of ink bled from somewhere in the printer. I always had to printer a little bit away from the edge and cut the paper after printing. Never really got to the bottom of the problem. Is this an issue anyone has encountered on the Canon MG6350 or similar models?
Thanks in advance for any replies
