The team that won the Central Mass District last week (http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1165248) advanced to the State Final...wearing blue/gold this time.

Went up against a traditional powerhouse and were shut out 3-0. 12 noon EST start, but lower winter sun helped; still stood for the turf.

Thanks Grant, it's an interesting sport, lots of play stoppage and subjective whistles...still haven't figured it out after shooting for more than 6 years...

Very nice shots and I agree it is an interesting sport. After covering Field Hockey for a few years it seems the whistles sometimes help the team being penalized by slowing a fast break.

The goggles look tougher than helmets since they are so compressed.

Thanks Bob, yes one girl was wearing a single bar, usually seen in LAX...thought maybe she'd get docked by the ref but didn't happen.
