Yes they are obits. I have to admit it wasn't planned. After showing the shot to my wife she also spotted the obits. I would like to say it was planned but sometimes things just have a way of happening.

Thanks for interest. I got the title of the poem slightly wrong, but pretty much captured the essence of the poem. My son is 3 weeks shy of 22 years old. He wrote the poem when in middle school, 7 th grade? As of a year ago it was still hanging in the school. The poem is attached (thanks Zach )

Larry, thanks for sharing your son's poem. I know that all of us at one time or another have either felt judged in that way, or have judged others on their outward appearance.

"Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

We all need to be more godly in our approach to others.

Awesome, especially coming from a middle schooler!! And the fact it's still hanging there is dynamite! Hopefully, it'll still be hanging there if your kid has kids that go to that school.
