Hello,

I'm hoping you can help me.

I'm trying to figure out where to go and learn or where to go and hire and expert to teach/show me how to use Photoshop to automate a workflow where my camera would be tethered to a laptop in a photo booth/studio-type setting.

Four pictures are taken within 16 seconds. I want Photoshop to take each image, size it, and place it 2x2 on a 4x6 or 5x7 template so I can print onsite and give to the client.

I'm not looking for "filmstrip" but something like this:

Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

What you show there is call a collage. Very easy to do with Photoshop automation. All you need to do is create templates for your various collages and use a script or action to populate the template for you. If you take many set of four images you could even batch the creations of the collages.

If you a good programmer you could even program a script to populate more then a single template in a single execution.

You may want to look at my Photo Collage Toolkit for full Photoshop not elements.
