Just got back my last roll of film that I shot/scanned today. I actually enjoy shooting film more than digital, because I feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I see scans like this. Gonna be hard to sell the F5...

Great shot Dustin - it has a marvelous balance of crystal clear and misty areas. Beautiful delicate light.

Very, very beautiful shot.

Which Lewis River is this? The one in Yellowstone?

Very nice indeed Dustin. You seem to intimate that you are selling the F5, why is that?

Very nice. Is that a super light dusting of snow on the pines?

Thanks guys for the comments. Sorry I cant indulge on how this was made. Single exposure on film - easy 5 minute walk to this.

really nice, Dustin... lovely composition. looks like pretty low water, at least below the falls. how did you get down to the river's edge? when i was there a couple of years ago, i couldn't find a trail down to the river, though there was a very rough, steep goat-trail that led down to a large rock about 6 feet high at the edge of the water. i definitely need to go back...

Gordon, this one is in southwestern Washington, about 60 miles east of the town of Woodland.

Wonderful shot, Dustin. I like your lead in grasses. I hope to get there someday.

An excellent shot, Dustin, of a magical place.
