From a few days ago.

1. Banded 3rd year Eagle. "S3" Awaiting word on the history of this one.

Beautiful set, Duane. That second one is incredible. The great curves of those massive wings and the head lighting create a powerful image. Great work.

Exposures and PP are terrific Duane bringing out beautiful detail in all of these images.
2 and 4 are the standouts for me... very well done.

I was there Friday and Saturday...wanted to stay for Sunday but I had to get things done around the house and work on Monday.

I didn't like the colors as the camera recorded it and I tried a B/W.....I like the B/W better.

Here is the info on the banded Eagle I posted.


This bird’s banding history is as follows:



Bald Eagle

Band #s – 0679-04021, and S/3 burnt orange

Location banded: MA, Berkshire County, Pittsfield, Onota Lake

Date banded – 06-09-11

Weight at banding – 10.12 lb (probably a female); sibling was 9.48 lb
