As in my prior couple post, these are from the Chihuahuan Grasslands - which hold an amazing diversity of wildlife - likely more than any other place in North America when you include the surrounding mountain habitat. I am working to quantify that statement with an ongoing species list project, which takes in both large and small mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. |
