I recentely bought a Feisol monopod (ltwt) after using a heavier one for sometime - and I'm having some trouble adjusting my technique as now the camera and lens seem skittish.

I really like the way it operates and carrying it to the very last soccer field in the distance is easier but I'm not as steady as before -- lens most used is the 200-400 on either my D300 or D3s.

Suggestions, tips, etc much appreciated.

Good links, Dean! Have to laugh, 90% of the people I see using them in the field are clueless
as how to glean the most stability from a monopod. Can only imagine how much better their
shots would be if they did a little research.
