The 24 f2.8 at $660 is looking better, at $500 it would be even better

And the 5DIII is now $3,110 at B&H (at least until Nov 24).

The price ... it just keeps dropping .

I just ordered a new 2X III Extender for $429. If the 24 2.8 IS hit $500, I think I would have to consider it seriously.

70-200 is listed on B&H site at 2,099, yet here it says 2,029. Was price already revised up, or is it typo here?

They already raised the price of the 70-200 back up to $2,099. Come on B&H, you're making it so hard to use this gift card.

It was not a typo. I copied the final prices directly from their website a couple hours ago. Prices were revised up.
I just updated the original post with the current prices. I hope some members were able to take advantage of the even lower prices posted before the changes.

The good news is the the The 5D Mark III is now priced at $2,994.00 instead of $3,110 from a couple hours ago. I can't believe how much Canon prices for cameras and lenses are fluctuating...

If there are changes to current prices, please post it here.
All the best,
Fred

They just keep on extending the same rebates that have been going on since what, September?

I just bought the 5D MKIII as well... anxious to try it out.

The price is now right and the 5DIII gets my official endorsement .

$3500 at introduction They got it all wrong, of course.
Dear Canon, just don't repeat this debacle.

5DIII Price needs to get down to $2694 to match the Adorama via ebay price on September 16 2012:

Click on this ad's "818 Sold" link to see what the 5D III actually sold for:
"$2749" ,then 5DIII buyers got 2% cash back via ebay bucks:

I'm waiting for a Brand New 5DIII at $2694 or lower via B&H

If I'm not mistaken there are some decent deals going on in the past day or so, unless they already sold out by now.

I believe an authorized dealer on ebay is selling the 5D3 body for $2799. Plus you get 2% from ebay bucks.

Buydig has a bundle deal with the 5D3, 24-105L, 32GB Sandisk Extreme SDHC Class 10, Pixma Pro 9000, plus some other random stuff for $3548 with promo code after the $400 rebate you get from the printer.

Pretty good IMO, but my guess is that it already sold out.

Not low enough. Get it down to $2100 and I will buy one to try out and compare with my 5d2s and D800. Although, the camera would be a fair value at $2500.

if only Canon would offer some saving on the new 24-70... but sadly supply/demand economics wins the day
