How to update lens profiles in LR 4?

Just wondering how I get LR to recognize my new Canon 500mm f4 MK II lens? It's not on the list of lenses.

You might want to try Adobe Lens Profile Downloader to see if someone has created a profile for your lens. You can also create one by using the Adobe Lens Profile Creator if there is not one.

Most of the profiles from Adobe will be in RAW format but some are in JPEG.

Thanks! A lot of this stuff remains a mystery to me. All of my other lenses just appeared on the list, but not any version of a Canon 500. I've been using the 600 choice until I get this sorted out. I'll keep after it. Always the student!
