"A donkey and a camel were wandering across the desert......." Sounds like the start of a great joke. It did make a great photo. A true statement of the human condition.

Thanks Douglas and BP.
When the woman gets home, the story will probably be "I went camel riding in Egypt."
Which is technically correct.
IMO the true and complete story is a bit different, and a whole lot funnier .

Thank you David and Tim.
Tourists do funny things when traveling to exotic foreign locations.
And why not? Funny can be fun.
A bit of silliness like this harms no-one. And it provides income for the Egyptian and his camel and his donkey.
That's a win, win, win, win situation. Plus another win because I saw it.
And another few wins because others saw the post.
Besides, the English woman doesn't know where I live .

Thanks SD, Ron, KCollett, Raymond, Tim, kmunroe, Birdie and Harsha.
The pyramids at Giza were so captivating (I mean, they really ARE big ), it took me a couple hours before I began noticing the people, which are usually one of the main reasons I traveled abroad.
Tim- that's why I ended the title as I did. So people could imagine their own punch line. Plus I couldn't think of a good one myself .

Sounds like winners all round Charlie.
A fine capture of a typical tourist on board the desert ship!
