Hey - it's just a coping strategy as there is no cure. Best you can do is cope by whatever means possible - lack of $$, angry spouse, pure shame, or you have all the NIkkor lenses that were ever made . . . . .

The way I cured myself of wanting to buy a lot of Nikon stuff I wouldn't really use was to start buying vintage Leica stuff instead. It's a lot smaller and easier to hide in my sock drawer.
