Hmmm. The ad says the camera comes with a Canon USA warranty but "Big Value, Inc." isn't an authorized Canon dealer as of yesterday.

Don't you have to buy from an authorized dealer to get the Canon USA warranty?

Good catch! This really doesn't look good. How does Bigvalue get the feedback they have, when they advertise lies? Hope my post has not misled anyone. I had setup a slickdeals.net alert and thought of passing on the information for those who missed the Adorama + eBay deal.. I was lucky on that

Yes. Anyway, normally, bigvalueinc sells gray market products. However, based on what last people bought from them last time, the packages come with a USA warranty card. But that doesn't mean Canon will provide warranty service.

I think one should write this off as a gray market with seller's warranty.
