My OM-D only had firmware 1.0... . so I downloaded the Oly updater in order to download firmware 1.1 (1.2 was suspended I guess). However, the updater took me all the way to firmware 1.5 which got installed. So I have firmware 1.5 now but I have no idea what's in it, there is no indication on Olympus' own site. I am using a Mac. Does anyone know? |

It also adds IS with legacy glass during video, which is pretty big. There were some other major bug fixes and such with 1.1 and 1.2 as well. |

Are there any changes with respect to the bracketing? Our om-d was shipped with 1.2. |

Well, Edgar Maguyon should be happy. For weeks, adding IS support for legacy lenses in video was all that he could talk about...now it's here, so we know Olympus has made one customer very, very happy today. |

lol, I remember that guy. He must have been a video only user. I wonder if he still has the E-M5. |

o wow, that would make it a great video camera. Good job Oly. Now if they also have focus peaking... |

so the IS will work even with non-Oly/Panasonic lenses, via regular adapters? |

Stopping the hum implies less is operating, so perhaps less power consumption and better battery life |

Using IS with a legacy Zoom is a bit of a pain. |

I'm a bit surprised that this firmware update hasn't hit the various review sites, forums and blogs yet. |
