Both will use the Olympus E-M5 sensor with TruePic VI image engine and touchscreen, and are reported to be priced at €399 ($520) for the E-PM2 with a 14-42mm kit lens and €599 ($780) for the E-PL5 with the same lens, shown above.

Good that they included a little grip on the EPM2. I'am going to get one as soon as it's available.

I think $780 is too much for the E-PL5, especially given the NEX-6, but it should be a good camera. I think $599, $499 would have been better price points to hit.

We'll see if these prices drop like a rock like they do most of the time 2 months after release. With the new Sony sensor, they may not any more.

It's nice to see that they're using the OM-D sensor. I'm assuming that this is using the older form of IBIS and not the 5 axis IBIS in the OM-D.

I might pick one of these up. I used to own an E-PL2 and I really miss the Oly files.

Looking good! Might be one of these in my future to take over for the 12MP sensors I've got. Don't need the OM-D body, but do need the sensor.

I don't know why people continue to react to Japanese/Euro prices like a direct conversion to USD = the street price in the US. It's almost always lower.

There's one for the E-PM2. I haven't seen one yet for the E-PL5.
