Lightroom 4.2 and Adobe Camera Raw 7.2 are now available as a Release Candidate versions on Adobe Labs. Both Camera Raw 7.2 RC and Lightroom 4.2 RC include tools to recover image sensor data typically lost when shooting in a camera crop mode. They also added support for newly released cameras like the Canon Rebel T4i, Canon EOS M, Nikon 1 J2, Pentax K3 among many others. For a list of major bug fixes and camera support, click below: Camera Raw 7.2 RC | Lightroom 4.2 RC |

Took a long time to download Lightroom 4.2--over an hour. I saw the notice on facebook. Looks like the put both the 32- and 64-bit versions in the download. 750 MB. I'm installing it now. |

Wait, why does Lightroom say my software is up to date? I recently got the software and am not sure if I need to manually update this. |

Somehow I just don't trust Adobe that everything will be fine if I decide to revert back. |

Is tethering speed better? The last version of LR4 was a lot slower than Canon's DPP |
