At some point, we have all done it...

In the making of this image, I learned that the leg locks on my new tripod...make for great paint scrapers... The things we do for the WA...

Good luck to all this week. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Great shot and I think it is worth the scratches.

Thanks Tom. My car disagrees with you about the scratches...

Thanks Elton. I wish I could say I got it on the first frame of the first pass...but that would not be the truth...I think it was the third frame of the third pass...just giving the folks in our little 'hood more to talk about...

Thanks Rich. I actually did this with all three of the items shown a few years ago...different car, but lets just say the coffee was everywhere, the wallet was empty, and the phone...well, it did not end well for that phone...

Nice job, Travis. Your shots are always among the most creative.

You might want to invest in a Fat Gecko camera mount for cars. I use it for video with the DSLRs and it works great. Easily adjustable and suction cups don't scratch paint. A tool like this in the hands of a shooter like you would make for some awesome shots!

War Vet, thank you. I just try to have fun with the assignments, sometimes it works, sometimes not so much. it is a creative outlet for me more than anything else...my wife, parent's and neighbors all shake their heads a lot...

I have an older Chase Cam suction mount, but it is old, and I did not trust the suction cup with my 7D and 10-22...I probably should invest in something that can hold the camera up, I think it would be a lot of fun. I thought about using my GoPro mount too...but was worried that it could not support the weight, even if I took the grip of the camera body...so, I just rigged up my tripod and made it work...problem solving at its best! Made it fun too.

Thanks again.
