I went over to Destin Harbor yesterday morning, camera in hand, looking for interesting signs along the boat docks, but nothing really caught my eye until I had arrived back at my parking spot and had bagged my camera. That is when I spotted this sign on the back side of a restaurant building. What initially attracted me to this image was the contrast between the rusty tin siding on the building and the black and white sign, but then I noticed that the sign had been partially framed with a wood frame, now weathered. I unlocked the trunk and retrieved my camera.

I have used no post processing trickery to achieve the black and white effect of the sign. It is the way it was except for slight overall contrast and saturation adjustments.

nice find Robert, very unusual, the wood frame makes me want to know more about the reason behind it.
