The Commerce Drive In Movie sign. The drive in was open from 1956-1990 but the sign still remains as a "gateway" indication for the Township of Commerce. Those were the days... |

I've driven past that sign many times. Nice photo! |

I loved drive-in's... But that was a different America, then... Thanks for posting |

I can remember going to the drive in when I was a little kid...sitting in the back of my dad's '72 Cutlass! |

This was a part of Americana that I remember well. My uncle lived across the street from a drive-in movie theatre when I was a teenager, and he and I would sit on his front porch and watch the movies, but of course without sound unless someone on the fringe had their speaker turned up really loud. That rarely happened, because very few of the attendees were there to watch the movie. |
