Hi guys, MF lenses are always considered PRO, and now if we convert them to use on 35mm digitals (FF and APS-C ), are they still as good as their originals? maybe YES, but maybe NOT.I think the number of conveted MF lenses are at a certain amount around, I myself have 2 C645, and I did conversions myself.Open this thread, I aim to you , who has MF lenses, and now is the time you guys to show the FM comunity that you still keep that quality on 35mm digitals.
Now GO!!!.

Hi Contas,

I've been using a Mamiya Macro A 120mm f4 M on EOS since last year...one of the very nice MF lenses in the medium format class. It does 1:1 without tubes, and is very sharp & contrasty thoughout the focus ranges. I'll post some shots later this morning.

Regards,

Edd

Hi,

Here are a few with the Mamiya 120mm, on a 5DMkII, and NEX-5n.

Thanks for sharing a new world, my friend

I really love to look at pictures from foveon sensor specially when it shot with carl zeiss .

I'm not giving up sigma route but waiting for FF foveon . I need a bigger format so I go on film-scanner route during this time.

I briefly shot a Kaleinar 3B on my Pentax K20D. It wasn't a great performer and I got rid of it quickly, but it was undeniably cool to be shooting something that massive on a dinky dSLR.

Thanks for the kind words...most appreciated...and I am enjoying your photos here and and the Alt flower thread, very nice indeed!

RustyBug: Very nice images...I second the comment on the texture. How is the LF shooting going?
