So, I found this carpenter bee hunkering down in anticipation of last nights rain. I did not have enough light or flash power to take it's photo then. However this morning I was able to capture this photo of a still very wet bee.

wow, I don't get that close to them. Do they really stay still overnight in preparation for rain? Great shot, I also like the softer processing.

I struggled with this weeks theme. This kinda just fell in my lap. And yes these bees do stay put overnight or during rain. They are very docile and will stay put until they are warm enough to become active again.
