This shot uses 12 multi-flash exposures to capture the vibration of a viola's G (196Hz) and D (293Hz) strings. No stradivarius here, just a middle school rental instrument.

Cool shot and yes I can see the string vibrations.

Very cool, very scientific rendering of the essence of music - and figuring out a way to photograph vibration is pretty impressive!
