This week when my son heard what is the week theme he said: com'n dad it has to be my cello! (he plays for 4 yrs). So we waited for a good light, he was moving it and I got all sort of angles and close-ups (maybe 100 shots) but this one seemed to be the one we both liked the most.

Comments very much appreciated.

Thanks
Adam

It has an abstract quality to it which I like.

Very nice angle on the instrument; the ornately designed bridge (if that's the right word) makes for a nice central element, and the diagonal shadows and strings add some nice lines...
Good Work, good luck this week...

Thanks a lot. I initially had an idea of exposure of the whole instrument but once start shooting I got attracted to the shadows and reflections of the bridge. That shot might end up on one of my walls

Very nice combination of angles and arches in this one. For some reason it makes me think of alice in wonderland.

Thanks. Maybe because things seem to be unnaturally big...

Great capture of the light and shadow. I like it a lot!

Best of luck to your son in his music!

All the best,

The shadows on the bridge was worth the wait.

Endre, Larry - thanks a lot. I was hesitant between cropping reflection of the bridge in front of the bridge, or shadow behind. Decided shadow was a bit more interesting.

Endre - is it cello or double bass in your profile pic?
