What is that scene, Julian, opera in wetsuit?

An annual open water swim in the sea named " Yacht Inn Swim" a charity event for cancer care. Not a long swim, aprox a mile, but it is very well attended and a lot of fun with nearly 500 swimmers, so a good fund raising evening. My daughter takes part which is why I was there at the finish line.

Ha ha, These days you cannot be sure most things are viable. He does happen to be her first swimming coach at primary school which got her very enthused about swimming.

Lol all competitive swimmers complain or remark about goggle marks. Getting in the pool 12 or so times a week and swimming 18 to 25 hours the goggle marks become normal and permanent. They don't tan in the summer the same colour as the rest of the face, it is as if the skin is slightly scared, so are more noticeable.

Maybe she should have several different pairs of goggles of different sizes, to avoid stressing one area so much

It is usual that a type/brand suits different face shapes and size of eye sockets. When a size and shape is found the swimmer usually sticks to the same brand and model for life. It is important to trust in the goggle and have a good fit which is comfortable and will fit so snug not to let any water in. All brands differ in some way or another, some just wont work and let in water however tight, as they are the wrong shape for head. They are also slightly tighter in a race to make certain they don't fall off in the dive.

There is a very strange distribution of sharpness in that image. Is that due to the downsizing?
