Wonder what they are thinking?

Hi Mark,
Well this is my take on what the thoughts are...
Him..I wonder if she would go out with me?
Her...wonder if he will ever notice me...
Ok, so they are really thinking..Him, I wonder if my Dad will let me drive his old Camaro...her,when will my prince find me.

Wow nice capture mark this picture really make me think.Converting it to blk/white really sets the mood between them

Purdy nice. Just not real crazy about that white steak coming out of the guys head. Not a huge deal though.

Very nice Mark, really like the chain link in front of the focus and the B/W.

Hi Norm, thanks for the comment. I think I would have really embarrased them by asking any questions. It was a fun moment to watch as one who has been in that same situation in my youth. Ah, young love...... wasted on the young

I'm glad this made you think cause that was the intention. I wanted a real story for this week's shot and I thought this did it as well as I could.

I'm glad you like it and thanks for making a comment. I was hoping for the effect to be good with the DOF and the B&W conversion.

I like the photograph, and the interaction between their thoughts really makes it work...Knowing teenagers like I do, my guess is that their thoughts are more along the lines of, "I wonder if I've done enough work to quit now..."

Thanks Mark...me and that reality check are great friends. The WA is so much fin, because you never know what anyone is going to do, one week you are on top, the next on the bottom. I might win that one...but I am having a PITA time getting a shot for this one, my daughter is not cooperating, that is the difficulty of working with a 10 month old model.

I feel that part of good story-telling photography is to catch a moment where there is some tension and leave it ambiguous enough such that the viewer can project into the scene. This image does that very well!
