I was at a complete loss for this assignment. I gave it ago and boiling some water to make some tea. Granted it's not 'cooking' but I was doing something related to it.

Besides, the stark contrast and deep black shadows make a bold statement, especially accented by the soft wisp of steam...see, you can do well even when you're feeling stymied!

nothing wrong with this one if you ask me, I agree with Jerry, I like the stark contrast, deep shadows and steam...it has a very dark lonely mood to it. Nicely done.

I used an LED mini flashlight to highlight the teapot and steam. I'm not very good at fending for myself when it comes to cooking. This contest just showed me how little I know about the kitchen and that I need to be more active when it comes to the preparation.
