Lets post some D800 pictures! I will go first. Haven't had any real-world shooting yet but just went around my local town and shot some pretty pictures. Here is what I came back with! This camera is really great! Very touchy with camera shake! 100% CROP http://www.langerproofing.com/D800/1. jpg ![]() http://www.langerproofing.com/D800/2. jpg This goose was shot with a 24-70 and cropped 150% from original. http://www.langerproofing.com/D800/3. jpg http://www.langerproofing.com/D800/4. jpg |

I hope to be posting video as well soon. Very excited to use the video functions of this camera. It is an all-around grand slam for Nikon. |

Ok, not an award winning photo, I just got my son to stand in for some lens testing this morning, day 2 with the D800. This was the first photo that when I zoomed in to 100% I said WHOA!! It is just incredible... Here's the downsized full frame and a 100% crop of the eye. Lens was an old 17-35 at 2.8: ![]() ![]() |

Don't undersell that one Chris... it's a great shot and you have a really handsome little guy there. The colors are great--any special processing? |

Thanks Mike. My standard Lightroom import routine adds some vibrance, saturation, contrast, clarity & sharpening to the raw file. |

You guys should think about posting crops or linking to full size images, otherwise, these shots could be from just about any camera! Really nice work though. |
