Wonderful image Mike. I see so many images like this which I have always thought looked very fake, or perhaps unrealistic is a better word. The short exposure time for this particular shot is absolutely perfect for my personal amount of "dreaminess".
Love your other photo's posted recently too, Busch Sonnenuntergang being one of my favourites. Great work.

@ Mike Elfner: Beautiful color series - where have you been? Baltic sea? The last colour shot is wonderful: Strong colours - a Zen- like simplicity.

Sort of a test shot. This is the 23/1.4 wide open at MFD:

Had an opportunity to shoot today, rarity for me lately with all the drama in my life...

Fuji X-E1, Nikkor 50mm f/1.4, and with three of the four, a Nikon M2 extension tube (27.5mm).

(this is the one without the tube)

Chilling out inside a rose. Surprised I even saw this one.

Mike, that is one heck of a string of shots. Where were the sea side shots taken? Were they with the X1 Pro? Thanks again for sharing your work.

@photorebel
Thanks a lot for your kind words, I really appreciate them!

@alba63, ourabmen
Thanks a lot. All sea side photos were taken with a X-Pro1 and either the 18-55mm or the 14mm.
The location was not the Baltic Sea but the North Sea in the province Zealand in Netherlands, a really beautiful place.

@MartinL
Thanks a lot! Before I take a photo I always have a vision and how I want the picture to look like. With HDR photos I rarely ever have luck (at least in color they look plastic, unrealistic), so I prefer the black & white ones.

Here the color one for comparison with an additional black & white one from the end of the same alley

These were taken this evening just before sunset at Lock Ridge Park, Alburtis, PA with my tripod mounted X-E1 and my Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2.0 M-Rokkor lens. Images processed in LR5.3RC.

Some shots from a 20 minute walk about town after work. It was really windy, and therefore freezing. Probably 30-40 mph winds. These are all with the X-E2 and XF 23/1.4:

Nice light and composition Jordan

Man....its killing me just having this 23/1.4 and 14/2.8 sitting on my desk with no X-E2 to mount them on. Heard rumors of black bodies shipping on the 1st of Dec.

Anyone else heard any facts/rumors/guesses when Adorama et al might have stock again ?

I got a black body last week from Adorama. I didn't realize they were sold out already?

Here's my little one munching on a plastic block. Not the best background, I know, but it's hard to wrangle a one year old on your own!

Went to the Honolulu zoo today to practice more with the X-E1 and the 18-55 ois there were two baboons far off in the distance of a glass enclosure but just at my feet there was a large one one at the edge of the glass lookout. I quickly pointed the camera down... manual focus but hit the AF AE lock button and .... greenish hue is from the glass
