I think only CS6 and CC get all the Camera RAW updates. You can export from LR5 to CS5, of course, but you'll have to make an exported file.

Ok, thanks. I don't use CS5 often and what I do with it can most likely be performed with exported files. My X-E2 will be here today so looks like I'll be upgrading LR this evening.

Thanks again

Rob - you can download the Lightroom 5.3 RC from Adobe, which has X-E2 support.

As a Creative Cloud subscriber, almost since they launched the service, you'd think I'd get an email or notification from the Adobe CC installer app thingy or something. I mean, they gave all my private info to some random hacker ... but can't afford the courtesy of a heads up about RC releases?

Thanks jman.

How's this for on camera flash. It was completely dark. I pre-focused in manual and set the ISO to 3200 and set the flash for +2/3 and when the deer came into the focus area I snapped.Taken through a bedroom window. X-E1 18-55mm zoom.

I just bought an X-E1 and the 18 2.0 and 35 1.4. Cannot wait to use them. My Canon gear will take a seat behind the Fuji equipment for now. It all started when I picked up my old Canon AE-1 camera last week The feel of the mechanical dials and aperture ring was all it took to remind me of the days of yesteryear, not to mention the excellent images the Fuji lenses can create
