To add some contrast to Jordan's feeling on the tonality of those images-- I find them overworked, and plasticky. Shadows getting lifted too far, highlights getting dropped/mellowed. The results is low-contrast in the mids, and feels more like illustration than reality.

These things are subjective!

This is one of my favorite threads to check out. Love the images from this XE-1. Color, sharpness and micro-contrast are stellar!

Beautiful shot Jordan

Here's a few from Voigtlander 90mm Apo-Lanthar LTM on fuji m-mount adapter

Most were wide open at f3.5 or maybe at f4

And one of Emily with the Voigt 90 Apo-Lanthar

Was surprised how many keepers I had with manual focus today.
Sure, some are oof but got enough decently sharp shots to keep me happy

I went to a revolutionary war living history event today and got a lot of practice with my XE1 and various lenses. I mostly used the 55-200, 35 and 60mm.

Very nice set above, I like especially the walking girl and the woman in the kitchen.

Just picked up an X-Pro 1 and 35mm f/1.4. I'm amazed by this little lens -- great image quality. Here are a couple from my first days with the camera:
