Thanks Derek!

Surprisingly, it's natural light. We were seated at a table for two at a cafe (Grove on Chestnut) and she's lit by the natural light coming through the window over my back (I think it was a bright overcast day, so nice diffusion).

Zaitz, I'm usually not that into pet shots, but that is a great photo! Your dog is especially suited to black and white.

ah, cool. i was wondering because it looked like a bright window reflected in her eye but the light on her face was so even and smooth.

Thanks! Actually he is a Bluetick coonhound. You guessed what most people do. He is 'rare' in that he doesn't have any brown like a normal bluetick - called 'all blue'.

Mawz - good set.

Way to go on The Second Go. I'm a sucker for snowy nighttime shots.

YEAH, CV 15 samples!

There are a lot of cool shots here. The bus in the snow is fantastic! Love the atmospherics of that image.
