I think its strange that they would list the original price at $4000. What a load of old bollocks.

I think they must like you alot more than me...my price is $2069 for that lens...HOWEVER, I can get a wicked deal on a Stroboframe shoe bracket for just $12.21 (down from $12.85!!!)

I feel like Charlie Brown. "I got rock..." Only in my case, every time I see these threads, I check and in my golden box there is a blender, a Wii dance game... stuff I really, really need.

Today's deal is a John Rain thriller. A Bosch 18-bit drill was on offer as well. What's up with that?

Regarding the Amazon "list" prices, this lens is currently widely available for about $100 more than this. You got a good price... but Amazon regularly lists absurdly unrealistic "regular" prices that only fool those who aren't smart shoppers.
