Thanks, Akul.

Is that a natural rock formation in your shot? It almost looks carved. Cool

Yes, it is. Along Hudson river, I see quite a bit of rocks this way. We actually sat on the top for lunch

Carsten - very cool. Tell me you did not move the chair to arrange so perfect in this composition right ?

I didn't move them There were hundreds (or thousands?). I just had to look around for nice arrangements. I also took a fair number of photos, but liked this one best.

Hi Carsten
I love those miniature beach huts. At first I just clicked the "Like" button as your image is clean and nice, simple and effective at the same time. Then I had a second look and recalled I took an image with some beach huts in it this summer, with a Zeiss Sonnar no less...
The Binz beach by night:

^^For fun only of course

That traffic sign by the water? Is it a joke only or was there a stop for a sand train or something?

Nice shot! Lots of mood in that one!

A joke? This is Germany, please be serious I don't know what it was, but I am sure it was in earnest.

You are right of course. When around and walking in Berlin this summer I spent a lot of time waiting for pedestrian (pun) traffic signals to turn green despite of not seeing a car or other vehicle. We don't do that in Sweden but when practicing walking by will I sometimes felt very lonely. I have to say though that the East Berlin style "Don't Walk" symbol is cute. But a joke it is not.

I walk when there are no cars close. It is sufficient for me that I can walk slowly across the street without forcing anyone to brake or slow down. Sometimes it feels lonely, yes

Wait til you walk with your kid(s). You'll appreciate "rules" for a couple of years

I should add that I don't do this when I am walking with my daughter, nor do I normally do it when other kids are waiting at the light. However, when there are only law-abiding adults waiting, I enjoy seeing them fume when I commit my crime.
