Having dabbled in photography for years, I finally got serious in December 2001 after having completed treatment for breast cancer (surgery, chemo, radiation; the whole 9 yards). I realized that I wanted to use my creative processes and vision to leave something for my family and the world when my time eventually comes. I'm still experimenting and learning and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. Night photography is a real passion for me - the world is different when the lights go down. And, I love creating beauty out of the ordinary things we usually don't see as beautiful. Shooting at night lets this really happen for me.
