Strictly an advanced amateur trying to take pics of the family and occasionally some great landscapes. Fully converted over to digital.
By day I'm an aerospace engineering consultant with two employees - this pays too well to be a professional photographer. On weekends, holidays, trips, climbing excursions, etc. I try to fit a bit of photography in there.
I am lucky enough to be able to travel a bit and live in Seattle where I'm 5 minutes from salt water, 1/2 hour from mountain trails, and a couple hours away from a volcano.
I hike/climb/backpack as much as possible, which isn't enough most times.
I have identical twin daughters, a lovely camera shy wife, a house and two cats.
Do I have too many lenses - who knows!
