I am a 50-something grandfather from Pennsylvania and have been working as a photographer since the 1960's. I owned a photo shop for 30 years but couldn't see any way for a small, service oiented shop to survive. I could see no way to sell digital at a profit and can't imagine selling it to anyone I like! ...but don't get me started. I still enjoy shooting a variety of subjects (on film) including scenic landscapes, architectural, & people. I also like shooting while enjoying some other hobbies: whitewater kayaking & both types of skiing. You could say I enjoy whitewater in both liquid & solid forms.

I use everything from an Olympus XA4, an old Nikon F, a Stereo Realist, a Yashica Lynx 14 (great for available-light B&W), a Mamiya C330 w/3 lenses, and several Pentaxes (Pentaces?) including the ZX-5, a IQZoom 90WR (great for whitewater), and an IQZoom 105W. I also use an old super-8 movie camera, if you didn't already think I was nuts.
