My interest in photography started with
my fascination with Polaroid products in
the mid 60's. During the early 70's I was studying photography concepts, shooting
and developing B&W film, having a great
time. During the last 30 or so years, I
have been involved with sales and
marketing, and just using a camera
occasionally and usually with not much creativity involved, I guess I was going
through the motions, birthdays, vacations,
etc. With the advent of cheap and high
quality digital SLR's, I have had a
renewed enthusiasm towards photography
starting with some of the early point and
shoots, then buying the Canon 20D about
3 years ago. My biggest surprise, has
been the realization of how important
having a good lens are, to achieving
encouraging results, having just
purchased a couple of nice lenses
recently and seeing the difference.
