110 camera at 10 years old. Hanimex
Practika w/50mm Zeiss in Jr. High. AE-1
Program in High School, traded for A-1.
F-1N in mid college, along with much
B&W darkroom work, then a Mamiya
645-1000s for graduation. Eos A2 in 1997.
500 rolls of film later, finally 'dipped the
toe' with CoolPix 880 and then 990, along
with a Polaroid ss4000 film scanner and a
first-gen Stylus Photo printer. Once dSLR
'state of the art' reached the plateau I'd
been waiting for (equalling or
exceeding 35mm film), I jumped in
head first and obtained the camera that I
think will go down in history as the
catalyst for 'the turning point' in digital
photography...
I now shoot with a 1D MkIII. |
