Somewhat similar to the known issues of the 70-200 f/2.8 IS L wide open at 200mm. It seems that in their knowledge, the Canon lens is somewhat soft at that focal length and apertures, and that the Sigma seems to have bested it in this aspect. They also seemed to talked about the barrel distortion at 24mm of the Canon too.


Where do we get all these known issues from? I\'ve never heard of them and the Canon \"L\'s\" would have never gained the rep they have with looks like this. Here\'s the 70-200mm f2.8 IS @ 200mm wide open. If this is bad I\'d hate to see good. It\'s more than acceptable for this kind of glass.
