I am just about to jump back into photography as a hobby, only this time I am going to go to the dark side and get a Nikon D90. After having been a Canon guy my entire life, this is a big change for me, and I finally decided to reluctantly let go of the last pieces of my Canon and Canon compatible gear (having sold my 5D and lenses just about a year ago).
All items include the original packaging and instructions/paperwork where appropriate. The condition of each item is listed nest to the item and is the actual condition the item is really in as I am very particular about the condition of my gear.
I will let all of the items below go as a package (including the Omni Bounce not pictured) for $300.00 OBO.
Metz 54MZ-4 Flash for Canon
Now that I am going to be moving to Nikon, I decided that I will get one of their excellent flashes (they have manual mode, boo Canon) and sell off my dependable, well taken care of Metz 54. The module has been upgraded to the M3 firmware as you can see by the picture below. This flash is in pristine condition due to the fact that I kept it in its soft case whenever the flash was not on my camera. The only thing that is not in perfect condition is that somewhere I lost the little rubber cover that goes over the external battery connector. That’s what happens when there is not some sort of built in retention mechanism. The flash comes with the soft case, upgraded Canon module, the original instruction book and other paperwork, and the original box.
I will also throw in a Sto-Fen Omnibounce that I have for this flash.
Condition – Excellent to Mint
Asking price - $225.00 OBO
Metz SCA 301 Standard Foot
This module replaced the dedicated module that comes with the Metz 54 and, with its one central contact, allows the flash to be used off camera as a quasi studio flash when combined with a sync adapter and cable.
Condition – Like New
Asking price - $10.00 (if the purchaser of the flash wants this, I will trow it in for free).
I have sold many things here on FM successfully and also on eBay. My user name there is Metalhead1986 if you want to check me out.
Money orders or PayPal will be accepted, and the above prices include PayPal fees.

Metz SCA 3008 A Off Camera Cord
This cord allows the Metz 53 and 54 flashes to be used off camera and still retain all its functions. One unique thing about this and the reason why it is so pricey is that it contains an IR sensing unit in it that overrides the one built into the flash to keep the metering (right word?) where it should be – close to the camera. I used this cable with a flash bracket and it works beautifully.
Condition – Excellent to Mint
Asking price - $95.00 OBO

Asking price - $225.00
Metz SCA 3008 A Off Camera Cord
This cord allows the Metz 53 and 54 flashes to be used off camera and still retain all its functions. One unique thing about this and the reason why it is so pricey is that it contains an IR sensing unit in it that overrides the one built into the flash to keep the metering (right word?) where it should be – close to the camera. I used this cable with a flash bracket and it works beautifully.
Condition – Excellent to Mint
Asking price - $95.00
Metz SCA 301 Standard Foot
This module replaced the dedicated module that comes with the Metz 54 and, with its one central contact, allows the flash to be used off camera as a quasi studio flash when combined with a sync adapter and cable.
Condition – Like New
Asking price - $10.00
I have sold many things here on FM successfully and also on eBay. My user name there is Metalhead1986 if you want to check me out. I have not sold been active on the board in the last year due to my new addiction, I mean hobby, but I aim to be back soon, only in a new, uncharted forum (for me, anyway).
Money orders or PayPal will be accepted, and the above prices include PayPal fees.
Shipping is not included in the above prices, and I like to ship Priority Mail, so figure about $5.00 for any item except the flash..
FS: Metz 54MZ-4 for Canon, misc. Canon accessories
I am about to just about to jump back into photography as a hobby, only this time I am going to go to the dark side and get a Nikon D90.
The condition of each item is listed nest to the item and is the condition the item is really in as I am very particular about the condition of my gear. I guess you can tell that I don’t do this for a living.

Does anybody know how I can get my pictures to show up? I have them on my own server, but do I need to pay for image upload now too? In the meantime, just click on the link to each picture.
I am about to just about to jump back into photography as a hobby, only this time I am going to go to the dark side and get a Nikon D90.
The condition of each item is listed nest to the item and is the condition the item is really in as I am very particular about the condition of my gear. I guess you can tell that I don’t do this for a living.
