Just pointing out the pretty big physical difference between these two.
Voigtländer Nokton 40 f/1.2 FE:
Close-focus: 35cm
Length: 59.3mm
Weight: 410g
Mitakon Zhongyi 50mm f/0.95
Close-focus: 50cm
Length: 87mm
Weight: 720g
(Edit: adding the CV 35/1.7 Ultron)
Close-focus: 50cm
Length: 50.6mm + 9.72mm adapter = 60.32 mm
Weight: 238g + 35g adapter = 283g
Weight with TAP: 238g + 133g = 371g
My Fotasy and K&F Concept Leica M to E adapters weigh 50 grams though. TAP is correct at 133g.
Another option is the Voigtlander VM-E Close Focus Adapter (125g) that I actually prefer to the TAP (which I carry but only use very rarely) unless I must have AF.
The problem with the VM-E adapter is that infinity cannot be reached when used with the CV 35/1.7 and no one (to my knowledge) has figured out how to adjust for this. Guy looked for shims but didn't find any. I've been very interested in the lens but for this reason didn't pull the trigger yet.
