I think it highly depends on the lens used.
If it's a native lens, I'd expect the built in manufacturer's profile to be superior to Lightroom's corrections. In this case I'd set the in-camera-correction to 'on' and Lightroom's to 'off'.
For legacy lenses, Lightroom's settings should be 'on' (there is no manufacturer's profile stored in the lens).

In Capture One (that's what I use) I believe (no proof yet) the in-camera-settings are ignored if it's RAW. When working with RAW and native lenses, you can choose if you want to use the manufacturer's profile stored in the lens or the software-included profile made by PhaseOne, but not both. In addition there is an 'analyze' button, that works for native and legacy lenses as well...
