I like the idea of photographing these amazing arthropods but their legs are so long, in proportion to their bodies, that one image is always lacking in some apsect. They also look like very good stereo subjects. This selection of images is a compromise.
This species tends to faltten its body and legs against the substrate when at rest (first image). I tried to move a small piece of white dertritus from next to the Harvesman and startled it into running to another part of the rotting log. There, it was less flattened but better for stereo.
The stereos are crosseye.
EM-1, Oshiro 2:1 60mm macro, sunlight, hand-held.
