I have a friend that does a lot of sports and just picked up a 7DII on Friday. He thinks it is faster/better than his pair of 1DMK4\'s for what that is worth. Over the weekend he shot a swim meet and 2 basket ball games and was very pleased with the results. He is a pretty darn good photographer having done this for nearly 40 yrs and has decent Canon glass to support his work.
I have no first hand knowlege but if he stops by this weekend and we play with the camera\'s I\'ll let you know my impression too. I have found a good test is letting the puppies play or chase balls while trying to get good face shots at F2.8 on the 70-200.
