Re: NEX Images Thread | |
Today I was playing a bit. I took the NEX-7 with my Pentax 645 lenses mounted with Mirex T/S to Canon mount and then Speedbooster to e-mount. Heavy backlight at around 11 local summer time let the colors of the foreground appear nearly black while the background was in dust. Then i played in Lightroom to recover colors in a pleasing way. Any comments are appreciated.
First one quite easy. Pentax 645 FA300/5.6 @f5.6 1/2000s (standing on a due to traffic swinging Autobahn brigde) and one degree tilt downward. Around 90% crop because of vignetting (due to speed booster).
Pentax 645 FA75/2.8@f8 1/1000s and about 3 degree tilt downwards. No vignetting. Plays well on the NEX.
Pentax 645 FA35/3.5@f8 1/1000s and about 5 degree tilt downwards. Maybe in this pic tilt made sense to have everything in focus. No vignetting. Plays well on the NEX.
Pentax 645 FA75/2.8@f11 1/1000s and no tilt.
BTW: The mountains in the background are caled the \"seven mountains\" (even though I think they are nine). The story goes that when in old times giants were digging the Rhine valley they dumped the content of their shovels there. That\'s how the seven mountains originated.
Enjoy
Stefan
PS: In Lightroom they look less noisy. Comes with export to jpeg.
PPS: Fixed by use of NeatImage and Photoshop to StepSharpen.
PPPS: Greens reduced a bit like MCO_970 suggested in Post No 9 on this page
