Re: State of your Gear and Plans

Have all of this...

D800, 28/1.8G, 50/1.4G, 85/1.8G, 24-120
RX1
RX100 (may sell and buy MII)
Nikon V1, 10-30 kit zoom (wife's)
Oly OM-D x2, 12/2, 17/1.8, 25/1.4, 45/1.8, 60/2.8, 75/1.8, 7-14, 12-35, 14-150, 35-100, 45-175, 7.5FE
Leica Summicron R 50/2 with Leitax mount for Nikon
Voigtlander 40/2 (Canon mount, from old 5D2 kit, selling some day)

Plans...

Selling off some m4/3 lenses (12/2, 17/1.8, 14-150, 45-175, maybe 45/1.8) due to redundancy after recent acquisitions
Selling Voigtlander 40/2
Keeping m4/3 as system camera, and for some travel
Don't need RX1 but a great travel solution with RX100, and the IQ is just astounding, often prefer the output to D800
Keeping RX100, what I carry in my work bag all the time and when I don't want to annoy others with a ton of photo stuff, and it consistently impresses IQ-wise, love the fill flash on it
D800 and just a few lenses for pics of my kids and their cousins and friends (CDAF AF tracking just doesn't cut it) and for serious photography. Also camera I grab for photos around the house since i don't have to lug it far.

Want to rationalize the whole kit a little bit, perhaps to RX100, OM-D and D800. But I enjoy the RX1 so will likely keep.

If I kept just one camera, it would be the OM-D.

I could also shoot with just an X100s or OM-D with 17/1.8 or D800 and Sigma 35/1.4 or RX1 and be happy (fast 35mm or 40 equivalent).

Hopes...

Nex FF is great, and that PDAF on sensor closes the gap a lot on AF tracking, in which case the D800 would go and be replaced by Nex FF and/or Oly OM-D successor with better AF tracking.
