Re: Manual Focus Nikon Glass

Some of the last Herculaneum shots, this day I used too much the 24-120/4 VR ( )
At the same room of the Neptune & Amphitrite mosaic, lies the so called \"nymphaeum\" with glass paste mosaics . Unfortunately no frontal view was possible at the day of visit - a closed room prevented such frontal view.

Nymphaeum at the House of Neptune, Herculaneum by labecoaves, on Flickr

D7000 + Nikkor 20mm f/2.8 ais CPU\'d hand held, ISO 800, f/5.6 at 1/250s.

The right side of the nymphaeum through the 55/3.5:

This is a unmanipulated view.
D7000 + Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 ai hand held, ISO 800, f/5.6 at 1/125s. ~50% cropped.

Detailed view of the top-right, this was a CS5 manipulation to transform from angled to frontal view:

Top-right detail of the nymphaeum - House of Neptune by labecoaves, on Flickr

This is a manipulated view from a CS5\'s \"transform - horizontal tool\".
D7000 + Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 ai hand held, ISO 800, f/5.6 at 1/125s. ~70% cropped.
At the top we have a frugivorous phasianid (?) and a dog pursuing a deer in this glass paste mosaic\' scene. The 50/3.5 allows heavy cropping.

Detail of top-left of nymphaeum, a little \"birding\" at Herculaneum:

This is a manipulated view from a CS5\'s \"transform - horizontal tool\".
D7000 + Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 ai hand held, ISO 800, f/5.6 at 1/125s. ~100% cropped. it is the same frugivorous phasianid (?). The 50/3.5 allows heavy cropping.
