Green is for DO isnt it?
Thought the 400 DO was the only lens to use Fluorite, prob need to do my homework, may have mis-thought, when I hear Fluorite the 400 DO and it's green stripe jumps to mind
Jerry, perhaps the green ring colour made you think of flouride tooth paste.
This I think is the first small EF lens which contained a fluorite element (See the image below).
800L is the first EF lens which contains two fluorite elements.
